What a stressful book. Both of the main characters, Eriko and Shoko, are unhinged in their own ways, but Eriko really takes the cake. Parasociality and obsessiveness taken to the nth degree.

There was this really nice 100% wool rug sold at IKEA called the GRODDSVINGEL (as seen on the left) that I told myself I'd buy once I got my own place, but it's discontinued now...

However, all is not lost! I've chosen to immortalize its colours in a sweater... kinda.
